About Us

• The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and complete Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
• There is only one God who is the Creator of all things. He is eternally existent in three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) and each possesses the full attributes of the Deity (Genesis 1:1, John 10:30, Colossians 2:9).
• Man was created in the image of God, but by voluntary disobedience, he fell and destroyed the relationship with God for which he was created (Romans 5:12).
• The Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man (John 1:1-2, 14; Luke 1:35).
• The Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through his death on the cross as our representative sacrifice, and that our justification, and the reconciliation of our relationship to God, is made sure by his literal, physical resurrection from the dead (Romans 3:24, 1 Peter 2:24, Ephesians 1:7, 1 Peter 1:3-5). 
• Jesus ascended to heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God where he acts as our advocate (Acts 1:9, Hebrews 7:25, 9:24; Romans 8:34, 1 John 2:1-2). 
• Jesus is coming back again to judge the living and the dead (1 Peter 4:5, Romans 14:9-12, 2 Timothy 4:1).
• The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin and leads us to righteousness. He is the literal presence of God indwelling in the believer and sealing them until the day of redemption (John 16:8-11, 2 Corinthians 3:6, 1 Corinthians 12:12-14, Romans 8:9, Ephesians 5:18). It is the Holy Spirit that is the effective agent of spiritual gifts that are relevant and powerful today (1 Corinthians 12:4-11).
• The grace of God expressed in Jesus' death on the cross, and that grace alone, is sufficient for our salvation as well as the salvation of mankind. It is the purpose of the church not to judge sin, but to extend God's grace to man, thereby representing God to the world (Ephesians 2:8, Romans 5:20, 2 Corinthians 3:18)
• It is the will of God for us to live a lifestyle that is entirely devoted to Him and a lifestyle that brings Him glory and honor (Romans 6:1-2, 12:1-2, Hebrews 6:1-2).
• Baptism is the outward sign of the inner work of our salvation (Matthew 28:19).
• The commemoration of the Lord's table is instructed by Christ in remembrance for His sacrifice (Luke 22:19-20).
• Worship, be it joyous or quietly reverent, must be the natural response of a believer when faced with the majesty of God (Psalm 150, John 4:24).
• Community, the gathering together of God's people in small groups for study, worship, and fellowship, is an integral part of the Church of Jesus Christ today (Galatians 6:2, Romans 12:15).

Our Sacraments

• Marriage is a holy union, between a man and a woman, instituted by God, serving as an Earthly example of Gods relationship with his Church (Gen 2:21-24, Eph 5:25-30).
• Baptism is an outward sign of an inward confession of faith. It symbolizes repentance and cleansing. Following Christ in baptism fulfills all righteousness (Matt 3:13-17).
• Celebration of Holy Communion is a holy remembrance of God's sacrifice. It is a commemoration of His death and resurrection; and, thereby His atonement for our sins (1 Cor 11:23-29).
